Lovelies ~ The first two days on the Italian Riviera are bursting with positive energy and pink light! The food, the views, the umbrellas, the buildings and the warmth of the Italian people fill my soul. Wanted to share the sweet energy with you.

Back in Italy and straight into the beauty of the Italian Riviera. 🇮🇹

My first evening (after a long set of flights and a few trains) brought me to fairytale-like Finalborgo, one of Italy’s most beautiful villages, where I wandered the little streets, followed whatever caught my eye, and had my first pesto pasta of the trip. Yummy!

One of the things I love most about Italy is already happening. I received the warm, spontaneous connection I love so much from the people here. The charming restaurant owner waved me in, took wonderful care of me, called me a taxi at the end of the night and told me I had beautiful eyes and a great smile. 😉 Not a bad welcome back. Grazie Italia!

I’m super excited for all the beauty, surprises and sweet moments waiting for me and the ladies joining me over the next seven weeks.

And yes… this was only the first pasta dish of many. 🍝🇮🇹💗

Lovelies, next week, I’m heading back to Italy and I’d love you to follow along. 🇮🇹

This time, I’ll be there for seven weeks, leading three women’s retreats in three very different corners of the country I love so much.

First, the Italian Riviera ~ Portofino and the Cinque Terre.

Then south to Puglia and magical Matera.

And finally, out into the Aeolian Islands off the northern coast of Sicily, my newest retreat destination.

Three landscapes. Three cultures. Three completely different ways of experiencing Italy.

I’ll be sharing all of it here, and not just the postcard moments, but the little things I love most… the morning cappuccino, the market stalls, the hidden streets, boats gliding across the water, beautiful meals that turn into long afternoons, laughter around the table, and all the unexpected discoveries along the way.

All the beauty in between.

I’ve been a little quieter here this summer as I worked intently preparing for these retreats, but that’s about to change. 😉

And BTW, in between retreats, I’ll also be checking out new locations in Italy for future One Month residencies. 👭

Who says your life has to be conventional? 💃🏻

There is a freedom that comes from creating a life that is uniquely your own. For so much of our lives, we follow the path that is expected of us, the path that makes sense, the path that looks good on paper. And somewhere along the way, it can be easy to forget to ask ourselves what we actually want.

For me, I’ve discovered that I need both… CA and Italy. California is home, with my family, friends and the lifestyle I grew up with.

But … Italy lights me up in a completely different way. I need the language, the cafés, the beauty, the warmth, the community and the feeling of being somewhere that continually inspires me. 🇮🇹

I know how fortunate I am to be able to live between two places I love, and I don’t take that for granted.

But I didn’t just dream about Italy and wait for it to happen. I found a way to build a business and a life that allowed me to spend more time in a place that brings me so much joy.

So I created a life that gives me both but it wasn’t always that way. I had to rearrange things in order to make this happen.

My life may not be conventional, but it makes me happy. And I think that’s what matters.

👉🏻 What about you? What is it that really brings you joy?

What makes you feel most alive? What do you need more of in your life to feel connected to yourself and to the woman you are becoming?

Sometimes we need to get quiet enough to hear our own hearts again. 💗

And then we have to give ourselves permission to listen.

Maybe your dream doesn’t fit neatly into the box. 🏡 Maybe it isn’t what you thought your life was supposed to look like.

Maybe it’s something you’ve been quietly imagining for years and keep telling yourself you’ll do “someday.”

I say, get curious about it.

Think outside the box. ☀️ Follow what brings you joy. Create more of what makes you thrive.

And then give yourself permission to do something about it. Even if it’s unconventional.

Especially if it’s unconventional. 💃🏻

Lovelies, last year when I dreamed up this “live like a local” Sicily experience, I had no idea it would resonate with so many women. Wow! 🇮🇹👭

My April and May 2027 one month residences sold out quickly and I’m so excited for these women to experience Sicily with me for a full month next year.

Over the last week, thousands of women commented “Sicily” on IG and shared your dreams with me, and imagined yourselves wandering the streets of Ortigia, living in your own apartment, and sharing this beautiful experience with a small community of wonderful women.

I’m overwhelmed by the response…in the happiest way. Over 162,000 people have seen the video on IG. Whoa!

(P.S. I posted the same video here on FB and got about 12 likes. Facebook is very different than Instagram)

More than anything, this has shown me that so many women are ready to choose themselves. Ready to slow down, create space to dream again, and experience the joy of living in Italy for more than just a vacation.

To every one of you who commented, sent a message, shared the reel, or followed along…thank you. You mean so much to me. 😘

This is only the beginning. 🇮🇹💗

Lovelies~ 2027 Spring in Sicily registration is open!

When I first imagined this Sicily “live like a local” experience 🇮🇹💗, I kept asking myself…

What if you could actually live in Italy for a month… without having to do it alone?

Not a tour. Not a retreat with every moment planned.

But a beautiful slower Sicilian life.

🏡 Your own apartment in a historic palazzo in Ortigia.

☕ Morning cappuccinos with friends in the courtyard.

🍅 A WhatsApp message asking, “Anyone want to wander the market?”

🍷 An aperitivo at sunset overlooking the sea.

💃🏻 The freedom to spend each day exactly as you choose. Solo or together.

This past spring, that dream became a reality for me and seven ladies in Ortigia. Watching our little Sicily community come to life was one of the greatest joys of my life.

Today, I’m so excited to share that registration is now open for my two Spring 2027 Sicily residencies.

Already, nine wonderful women (from all over the world) have reserved their apartments, leaving just five places remaining between April and May.

Choosing yourself is one of the most life-changing things you can do. I know because I’ve done it, and I’ve watched so many women do the same. 🙏 Sometimes, all it takes is saying yes to a dream you’ve been putting off.

We spend so much of our lives taking care of other people, meeting deadlines, running errands, and keeping everything moving that it’s easy to forget how much we need a change of scenery. 🇮🇹

One of the reasons I believe so deeply in travel is that it gently interrupts our routines. We start noticing again. We become curious. We slow down enough to experience a place instead of simply moving through another day.

Whether it’s a weekend away, a week abroad, or a month living in another country, travel has a way of opening us to new possibilities.

It reminds us that life can be lived in different ways, and sometimes that’s all it takes to spark a new idea, a new dream, or a fresh perspective on the life we’re creating.

I don’t think traveling is selfish. I think it’s a way to honor yourself. To care for yourself. 💗

I think it’s one of the most meaningful gifts we can give ourselves.

And often, we come home not wanting a different life, we come home inspired to live our own a little differently.
