tions culminating in my most recent location in Malvern, Pa. where I was predominantly an Ashley Furniture Independent Dealer. Unfortunately in July of 2013, I made a business decision to close the store due to a major slowdown in business due to a very sluggish Economy..Everyone is feeling the effects of this " slowdown" to a greater or lesser degree.I hope that most of you are to a lesser degree ..I felt that to continue my tradition of offering my customers the lowest possible prices for quality furniture, I needed to evolve my business into an online internet business.I always had a reputation for giving my customers consistently some of the very lowest prices in the area and now I can price my furniture MUCH LOWER(due to Much Lower operating expenses)!!Through the years I dealt with many different suppliers, both manufacturers as well as distributors.Most of these either went out of business or I stopped dealing with them because their product quality declined or their service to me and my customers became unacceptable.Ironically the manufacturer who was my very first supplier back in 1988 has outlasted and outperformed all the others and is today by far my major supplier!!Their name is COASTER FURNITURE (I know, I have always thought their name to be strange) and their product line is growing by leaps and bounds!They are presently manufacturing more than 5000 items of furniture and bedding !!Ashley Furniture does not come near this number and Ashley is considered the World's largest builder!!Not only is Coaster building a huge number of items, but I have seen their quality improve incrementally all these 27 years ! When I say quality , I mean consistent improvements in design, execution of design and manufacturing..In addition, their packaging has improved tremendously to the point that I receive very few shipping damages !! Finally, I must say that as they have grown, their organization has evolved and become more efficient..I consider their customer service to be right up there with the best I have ever dealt with, including Ashley ( which is considered the Best).Like Ashley, they handle warranty issues professionally and smoothly and both manufacturers are a pleasure to deal with !!Right now ,about 75% of my business is Coaster and the rest, Ashley...I must say that in the past few years I have found Coaster's product to be generally more stylish, innovative and imaginative and using better quality materials than Ashley !!...............................So , go to www.coasterfurniture.com and www.ashleyfurniture.com and Shop Till You Drop ...Write down Model Numbers and then call me for BARGAIN PRICES(and ANY other questions you might have !) and I will shoot for another 27 YEARS !!Your Furniture Guy !!Leo Zelino ---Call 267-226-1696
