SALSA VERDE
A celebration of life, birthdays & being together.
Sometimes you don’t need a grand escape.
You just need a table, a paintbrush, a glass of something cold and a few hours with people you love.
Our first Salsa Verde workshop was a birthday celebration. Everyone arrived with the usual assortment of life’s complications — and then we started painting.
Stroke by stroke, conversation happened. Glasses were filled. Laughter appeared. Shoulders dropped. The world became slightly less urgent.
And somehow, everyone left a little lighter than they arrived.
That’s what we think the Studio is really about.
Making space to breathe again — together.
For Salsa Verde, each guest painted a wooden planter box, made by my Dad, and filled it with three little herb containers — parsley, basil and mint — ready to sit and grow on the kitchen windowsill, alongside our Salsa Verde recipe.
A little reminder of an afternoon together, that keeps growing long after the paint has dried.
And this is only the beginning.
