Her work and expertise have been featured on leading design programmes such as Top Billing and Tuine & Tossels, as well as in prestigious interior and lifestyle publications including The Home Owner, Architectural Design, Garden & Home, Tuis and many more.
Today, the business has proudly entered its next generation, with Driekie’s sons, Kobus and Reynard, joining her to take the company forward with fresh ideas, expertise and a strong focus on sustainability.
Kobus has joined the design side of the business, ensuring that every client’s vision is carefully carried through — from the initial concept and 3D design, through procurement and project management, right through to the final installation.
Reynard oversees the financial side of the business while also managing our sister company, doujardin_a
Café. He has also embraced his passion for growing fresh vegetables, cultivating produce that makes its way directly from our garden to the kitchen — creating a wonderful farm-to-table experience for our customers.
What started as a small café where clients could enjoy a coffee and light meal while discussing their interior projects has grown into a fully licensed restaurant, beautiful garden venue and one of Bloemfontein’s sought-after destinations for dining and special occasions.
D’Ou Jardin Café has become known for its delicious breakfasts, sizzling steaks, designer lattes and beautifully presented food — all served in an environment where décor, design, gardens and ambience come together perfectly.
After 15 years in Bloemfontein, House of Interiors and D’Ou Jardin have made their mark not only within the design and hospitality industries, but have also become household names in our community.
