Lume Handmade

Lume Handmade Created by hand and heart, LUME is my quiet space of making — where light, faith, and stillness shape each piece of polymer clay.

Every curve and color tells a story of being held, of grace, and of finding beauty in the gentle moments.

In this video I’m creating a new design for
THE FIRST COLLECTION — a black bow finished with silver and gold leaf details.

Every piece is shaped slowly by hand, inspired by contrast, texture, and soft movement.
Thank you for being here and watching this collection come to life 🤍

A slightly late, but very heartfelt Happy New Year 🤍

I’m so excited to share my new January collection, and before it launches I’d love your input — do you prefer studs or dangles, or are there specific styles you’d love to see?

Although I only started towards the end of November last year, I’ve already sold most of my initial pieces — so the designs I’m sharing now are freshly made for this new season. If you’re dreaming of something unique, you’re always welcome to reach out for a custom-made pair created just for you.

But first, let’s take a little moment to appreciate the story behind the material itself.

A brief history of polymer clay
Polymer clay was first developed in the 1930s in Germany, originally created for doll-making. Over time, it was refined into a bakeable, durable medium — most notably with the introduction of FIMO — and soon found its way into the hands of artists worldwide. Its versatility, strength, and endless colour possibilities made it especially popular for jewellery and small sculptural pieces.

What began as a practical invention has grown into a beloved artistic medium — shaped slowly, by hand and heat — turning imagination into something you can hold ✨

✨ A New Chapter ✨

Creativity has always been a part of me. Since I was a little girl, I remember sitting with my granny, watching her create all sorts of beautiful, artsy things. It’s something we shared — and it’s always stayed close to my heart.

Earlier this year, I started exploring different crafts, but nothing truly clicked. I knew I wanted a creative outlet, something that felt me. Then I discovered polymer clay, and I instantly fell in love. The possibilities are endless — I don’t think I’ll ever run out of ideas!

Being a stylist will always be part of who I am, but creating with my hands feels like another piece of my soul coming alive. This brand is deeply personal — it’s a reflection of my love for creating, my memories, and my heart.

I hope my journey inspires you to find that part of you that loves to create. 🌿

I’m still finalizing my product layouts (and with December closures, it’s taking a bit longer), but stay tuned — I’ll be sharing my pieces soon.

There’s a lot of exciting things coming… and I can’t wait to show you. 🤍🔥
