Hoërskool Randburg Matric Farewell 2016 - table numbers, menus and name cards were all painted with Granny B's. Used Daisy and Dry brushed with metalic silver (not so clear on the picture, but the metalic added a little bling perfect for the occasion..

Hoërskool Randburg Matric Farewell - another photo shoot spot was create. We used chipboard, painted it with Granny B's Black Betty. Frame was made with normal skirting boards painted with Granny's Daisy white.

Hoërskool Randburg Matric Farewell 2016 done and dusted. Finally we can share some of our creations. Raw damaged single doors were purchased from Builders Warehouse. Doors, chandelier en bench were painted with Daisy white, Cotton Candy and a splash of Hurricane.

The theme for Hoërskool Randburg's Matric Farewell this year is "Vintage Chalboard". A background is set where memories began and path for the future is laid out. It was an obvious choice to partner with Granny B's Chalk Paint. Best paint at best price. Thank you so much Granny B's for being part of this special event and for sponsoring our supplies 🤗.

I was asked to share, so here it is.... The first piece of furniture I ever painted ... Where the addiction started!

This table was originally painted with a different chalk paint over two years ago (way before Granny B's was introduced to the marked). Sadly, it was sealed and finished with "wax" which was not durable enough for a sunny area outside area where It chipped and bubbled and it was time for a makeover again. Decided, to sand the whole top down as the surface was way to uneven.

Loved the original woodgrain, but the table was badly damaged with rust stain marks.

Mixed Huricane with white and gave it a quick wash - painted lines and stencilled image. Sealed the table with Granny B's lacquer.

Now 3 months later and table is still in perfect condition.

It's been quite some time since I posted any of my Projects. I'd rather paint than Post. Best therepy ever!!

Used Red Heart Love (my new favourite colour), Hurricane grey an mixed some Peppermint Twisp with Hurricane for Bar stools.
