Mother’s Day is about honoring and remembering the special ladies in our lives - the ones that gave us life, the ones that gave us love, the ones that made us feel safe, seen and understood. The ones that gave us a home, memories of laughter and wings to fly, the ones how made us dream big and feel protected and cared for. We all are because of you, dear mothers. Our darling Michael has put this in beautiful words.
But it is also to be mindful that on this day it is not just happiness that prevails, it is also sadness of grieving mothers, who had to go through unimaginable pain to do the most unnatural thing and bury their kids before them, yet they will always be parents - and grieving kids, people, that have lost her mothers in many different ways - emotionally, or physically…not every mother is equally present for their child, not every mothers feels unconditional love.
We acknowledge however, that a mother is the source of all life (ok, together with some help of dad 😬) and in an ideal world, all mothers should be celebrated for raising future generations of kind, loving and mindful people. They deserve to be showered with love for the hard work it takes to raise a decent human being. Thank you mums of the world, and you literally keep us going here at Yes! exclusive flowers in Cape Town. There are people that love you very much and they send you a little token of their love in the shape of flowers 🌸💞.

Mother’s Day is almost here: for everyone who needs a reminder: it’s on Sunday May 10th and we are here for you, your mum, your auntie, grandma, mother in-law or just because you want to send someone a little love and kindness 🌸💞
It has been our biggest Mothers Day to date with turning over 220.000 stems of roses 🌹alone in an ever changing and challenging logistical environment. War surcharges of airlines, reduced freight capacities, public holidays and then there is also Mother Nature with adjusted weather forecasts and rains in Kenya that add to the equation. BUT we managed, our team has outdone themselves and truly raised the bar and we are extremely proud and want to acknowledge the sacrifices of the last 2 weeks: early mornings, late nights, limited family time, all to bring happiness to South Africa’s mothers … and many others. We have also done lots of exports to other countries and are happy that Yes! exclusive flowers are travelling throughout Africa to spread joy, love and happiness. Thank you for your support.

Here in Hungary, the peony season is just starting…🌸 but this year I can experience this miracle once again and you can be a part of it too.

This October, will organize an incredibly intense 4 days in Cape Town, South Africa, which will be all about flowers.

On the first day, we will visit a magical peony farm,
where we will learn about growing of peonies in South Africa, have lunch and get to know each other better.

On the second day, I will prepare an exciting presentation for you,
where of course the peonies will be the main feature flower, but I will also show my other great favorite, the proteas - and other flowers, in a slightly different light, through my perspective.

On the third and fourth day, the main focus will be given to designing flowers with me.
Together, under my guidance, we will create different creative works, try out techniques and realize our most exciting ideas.

I hope you will join us!
Let’s spend a few unforgettable days together, where everyone can return home with unique experiences and a fresh perspective for the start of the new season.
