Hello to all my new followers 👋

Let me introduce myself. My name is Xia Carstens and my studio’s name is Xee Summer Atelier.

I am a diverse designer / artist, working mainly digitally. My work includes branding and corporate identities, to packaging, lots of illustration work, pattern work etc.

I completed a BA in Graphic Design where I found my passion for illustration. My work now lends itself to many different endpoints. From a carpet pattern for a 70’s inspired bowling alley in Nashville Tennessee to homeware collections, clothing collaborations, illustrations for publications and more.

I am currently working with interior designers on transforming spaces and creating work that can be printed on curtains, wallpapers, ceilings and framed works.

I genuinely LOVE what I do and wouldn’t trade it for the world. Thank you to all each and every one of you who have supported me along the way. I appreciate this communities love and support so much.

Looking forward to my next body of work coming soon where I’ll be working with wood to create these wooden ‘sculptures’ for your walls. First imagine is a mockup of me planning - second image is used from this design I did ages ago. I look forward to working with wood again and producing a body of work using my designs cut from different types of wood with different grains.
