Our candles are conceived through authentic natural fragrances inspired by familiar scents:
• Ancient fruits — fig, orange, grapefruit, lime
• Gardens scents — lemongrass, grass, cotton, sage, moss, oak trees & rosemary
• Spices — ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, clove
• Middle eastern scents — frankincense, musk, sandalwood & oud. Our raw products are natural and environmentally friendly — Cotton and wooden wicks embedded in divinely tactile soy, coconut and beeswax, freestanding or housed in reusable frosted glass or tin containers.

THE SPARK
Leana Clunies Ross is the spark that ignited the 1 Lux Candle Co. A photographer by trade with a passion for style, fashion, beauty, portraiture, travel, gardening, design & decor. For a photographer, light is central, enthralling and inspiring, but creating exceptional imagery is more than capturing light. For Leana, it's the creation of aesthetic moments using all senses; sight, smell, touch, sound, taste and intuition, and being spatially aware to search for and create calm environments. Scent is central to immersion in these aesthetic moments and calm environments, whether they be places of worship or pleasure, holistic treatment, cooking, gardening, socialising or just sitting alongside an ocean, river or lake. In her search for fragrance, Leana drew on her scent memories of having grown up with lush gardens and seaside holidays. She steers away from garish, predictable smells and explores unusual and raw elements searching for the unexpected sensual memories which shape our lives.
