Note to self, don’t bake while fasting ✍️

I saw a tiny gingerbread house for you mug, so I attempted this mini masjid for your mug!
Now all I want is some coffee and a cookie!
This was my first attempt, but I’ll definitely try and refine it more the next time.
And I’m definitely going to be making the Astro masjid for my kids on Eid Insha’Allah 😋
What do you think??

Our Eid cookie set is now available ☺️

A 5 piece cookie set including a moon, star and mosque cookie cutter, a Islamic geometric design embosser and Eid Mubarak stamp.

We’ve loved and used ours or years making cookies, clay ornaments, with play dough, and even making bird seed hangers!

Each cutter measures 6cm and the stamp is 3cm. The perfect size for little hands to use and the perfect treat size ☺️

It’s almost my sweet girls birthday! Teddy bear picnic/ Tea for Two is the theme and I’m yet to start prepping 😬We’re only having close family over for the celebration but I want it to be really special, seeing as her first birthday was during the hard lockdown.

Also, not me only having this pic of my daughter 😂 does anyone still print pics and have physical photo albums?

One thing about me, I’m going to decorate my home for Ramadan 👆🏻

Story time.. I’m a revert, and embraced Islam a few years ago, alhamdulilah!
There was a time when I had to hide my Quran and madressa books, put my scarf on in the car, mute the Athaan on my phone, etc etc. Reverts will know what I’m talking about.
So for me, decorating my home is a blessing, something I made dua for and I feel incredibly blessed and privileged to be able to do so. All shukr and praise to the Almighty 🤍

It’s the versatility for me 🙌🏻

My daughter is almost 2 and she’s definitely ready to potty train. I’m going to use our calendar as a potty training reward chart and for each day that she uses the toilet successfully (even just once), I’ll let her peg a gold star onto a pocket and take a sticker out from inside for that day. ☺️

I’m definitely a plain-Jane at heart and love neutrals and minimalism. So when I decided to make these calendars, I knew I wanted them to be a blank canvas, so that it can be used and styled for many different purposes.

Add your kids names, a Ramadan sign (which we also stock!), use it as a chore chart or birthday count-down calendar, propagation station (post coming), the possibilities are endless ✨
