FACTORY MANAGER – SLUMBERPEDIC

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced, hands-on Factory Manager to lead our manufacturing operations and team.
The Position
We are looking for a reliable, honest and driven Factory Manager who can take responsibility for the day-to-day running of our factory, ensure production targets are met, maintain quality standards and lead a team effectively.
The ideal candidate will be a strong team leader who is able to work under pressure, manage multiple responsibilities and maintain a professional and productive factory environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the factory.
Manage, motivate and lead the factory team.
Ensure production targets and deadlines are consistently achieved.
Monitor product quality and ensure company standards are maintained.
Manage workflow, productivity and staff performance.
Ensure efficient use of materials, equipment and resources.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Identify and resolve production challenges quickly and effectively.
Ensure staff follow company procedures and workplace standards.
Assist with stock control and minimise wastage.
Communicate effectively with management and other departments.
Lead by example and promote a positive, accountable work culture.
Requirements
3–5 years' experience in a factory, manufacturing or production management role.
Previous experience managing and leading a team.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Must be willing and able to work retail/factory operating hours, including Saturdays where required.
Sober habits and a professional approach to the workplace.
Clear criminal record.
Traceable and contactable references are essential.
Honest, reliable and trustworthy.
Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and timekeeping.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Ability to take initiative and work independently.
