A slightly different post from us today — if you’ll indulge us.
Little Haus started in Laura’s garage. Not in a “visionary entrepreneur” kind of way — more in a “I can’t find what I want anywhere in South Africa, so I’m just going to make it myself” kind of way.
The lamps and lampshades she was looking for — handcrafted, warm, beautiful enough to feel like little pieces of art — simply didn’t exist here. So. Garage it was.
She brought on one local artisan, the lovely Lexy, and trained her up. Then another. Then another.
Fast forward to today and we are somehow a growing team of more than 10, with our own showroom — and some exciting developments on the boil. Stay tuned 😉.

Little Haus has created art. It’s created jobs. And it’s made hundreds of houses feel like homes — which was the whole point, really.
