I whipped up these chalk bags for my friend’s wall‑climbing legends-in-training, and honestly… I might be obsessed. Made from *furry tiger “fur”*, complete with a cheeky felt face and button eyes (with screw teeth because why not add a little mischief 😜).

Lined on the inside, elasticated at the top to keep chalk where it belongs, plus a handy toggle so it can clip onto a belt and climb along for the ride. Practical? Yes. Cute? Absolutely not optional.

Today’s adventure in the Velvet Seam workshop: *The Great Foam Transformation* ✨

First up, we have our trusty foam — looking a little naked, a little vulnerable, a little… “just woke up from a nap and not ready for visitors.” So naturally, we give it a glow‑up.

Step 1: Wrap it in Dacron.
Think of it as giving the foam a cozy winter jacket. It instantly becomes smoother, rounder, and about 37% more huggable. Also, it stops judging me with its sharp corners — win.

Step 2: Enter Spellbound.
Not the mood, not the playlist — the product. (Although… the vibe *is* a little magical.) Spellbound glides on like the primer of dreams, helping everything stay in place so the final fabric cover sits perfectly. It’s basically the fairy godmother of upholstery: *bibbidi‑bobbidi‑beautiful edges*.

So my friend thought that her outdoor set was living its *best life*… until she said said, “Babe, this furniture is begging for a makeover. Like… begging.”

Challenge accepted. 😌

Fast forward to me, wrestling fabric, foam, and the will to live — but LOOK, we came out victorious. The cushions? Dark grey and chic enough to make a cloud jealous. The pillows? A mix of light and dark grey in a diamond pattern so puffy they basically flirt with you when you sit down.

And yes, everything is UV and water‑resistant, because we don’t do high‑maintenance around here. This set can survive sunshine, rain, and that one friend who always spills something “accidentally.” 🙃
