A last breakfast in Lisbon and then a quick stop at beautiful Amsterdam.
I can not wait to be back with my family and to share these beautiful memories and little things I shopped.

• The correct size and proportion for the cabinetry
• The colour and tone of the metal
• How the finish works with the rest of the space

One of the simplest ways to make a room feel more balanced and thoughtfully styled is correct rug placement.

Here are a few guidelines I always follow when styling a space:

• Either all legs, or the front 2 legs should be on the rug
• The rug should go at least 15–20cm beyond the sofa, 30cm is ideal
• Leave 20–30cm between the rug and the edge of the room on all sides
• The coffee table should be at least about 45cm from the sofa
• Follow the length of the sofa or the length of the sectional for the orientation of the rug

These small details make such a difference in how a room looks and feels. 🤍

Between celebrating Mother’s Day and my 50th birthday, our home has been full of people coming and going all week, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🤍

Hosting has always been one of my top love languages. I love gathering people around a table, celebrating life’s beautiful milestones, sharing meals, slow conversations, and cozy coffees around the kitchen island. Those are the moments that make a house feel truly alive. 🏡☕️

And as much as I love the people filling the space, I also love creating an environment that feels warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully styled. My wooden bench has become one of my favourite pieces in the kitchen - simple, timeless, and the perfect detail to elevate the space while still feeling lived in and relaxed.

50 ✨

What a beautiful milestone to reach.

Although the celebrations looked a little different than originally planned thanks to the storm, I still felt incredibly loved yesterday Every message, phone call, prayer, and kind word meant more to me than you know. 🤍

Fifty years of life… filled with so many seasons. The highs and the lows, the growing, the learning, the moments that shaped me. From raising babies, to toddlers, to teenagers, and now watching them grow into young adults of their own. What a privilege it has been.

Friendships that stood the test of time, new friendships that found their way into my life at just the right moment, family, memories, heartbreak, laughter, faith, and so much gratitude woven through it all.

Thankful for every person who has walked part of this journey with me. ✨

Here’s to 50 years of life, love, growth, and grace. 🤍
