Exciting news!

We will be hosting another Ocean-themed resin serving board workshop 🌊

Join us and learn the basic techniques, with step by step instructions, of working with resin to create your very own ocean-themed resin serving board as a statement piece for your home.

All materials will be provided for the class, which includes resin, pine wood serving board, pigments and all tools needed.

- Cost: R950
- Date: 15 November 2025
- Time: 9am - 12pm
- Location: Canvas and Craft studio, 108 Raats Drive, Table View, Cape Town.

A sticky situation.

When working with resin, it is very important to get your measurements correct when mixing. Inaccurate measuring will lead to the resin not curing correctly, leaving it sticky and uncured, even after curing time.

When I was measuring out my two parts, I knew I had measured incorrectly but still carried on to pouring. Lesson learnt... Don't rush the process. I decided to scrape the layer off and pour another.
