A little bit of the bush, brought indoors 🧡💚🩷

For River Lodge, the surrounding landscape became our starting point. Its colours and textures informing a warm, layered interior that feels entirely at home beside the Sabie River.

Rather than competing with the wilderness beyond the windows, the design quietly echoes it, creating a space where inside and out feel wonderfully connected.

At Kingston Treehouse, the furnishings were carefully chosen to work with the environment. The brighter natural light called for richer, more saturated colours that wouldn't be washed away by the African sun, while natural stone and timber create a seamless connection to the landscape.

At Ivory Lodge, furniture placement was about far more than simply filling a room. Every chair, sofa, and table was carefully positioned to frame the surrounding landscape, encourage conversation, and ensure the breathtaking views remained the focal point 🧡

One of our favourite design tricks is carrying a colour, pattern, or material through different spaces in subtle ways. A familiar brown and white checkered tile creates a quiet thread that ties this home together without making every room feel the same.

For River Lodge, the landscape wrote the brief 💚

The colours, textures, and natural beauty surrounding the lodge became the inspiration for the interiors within.
