HOUSE ZEELIE

An old favourite of ours — layered with rich textures, beautiful colours, and the kind of warmth that makes a house instantly feel like home.

Deep greens and leathers, modern prints, soft off-white sheers… every element works together so effortlessly in this townhouse, creating a space that feels both luxurious and incredibly cosy.

For the window treatments, we used inverted pleat sheers on the back track to allow soft daylight and all-day privacy, paired with deep green blockout-lined wave curtains on the front track for a clean, modern finish.

Summerhouse manufactured both the curtains and custom cushion covers for this project, while the interior design and styling was done by Annelise from Anna Produksies.

And of course — it always helps when clients have impeccable taste.

Corner windows done right

A golden oldie project that still feels effortlessly timeless.
For this main bedroom we curved the back track into the corner, allowing the inverted pleat sheer curtains to wrap beautifully around the space — giving all-day privacy without sacrificing natural light.

The front layer? A luxurious wave curtain, lined with total blockout for the perfect night’s sleep.

Finished off with sleek black tracks, installed almost flush with the ceiling, to complement the aluminium window frames and add a modern boutique-hotel feel.

This setup by Didi is beautifully playful — bold leopard prints, sweet checks and colour combinations that shouldn’t work… but absolutely do. The beauty of print-on-print is that there are no rules — only personality.

Soft structure, timeless detail.

As this style rod operates with wrought iron rings, a Euro pinch pleat or double pinch pleat curtain header works best. The rod shown here is a matte black wrought iron rod with French returns, neatly closing off the ends. It doesn’t just look beautiful — it works beautifully too.

The return gently curves the curtain back to the wall, closing off light gaps, improving privacy, and creating a more tailored, finished look.
