Joanne Blanckenberg is the proud owner of Jojo's Jelly Beanies which she started almost 13 years ago in November 2010. She started the business with a mere R50 and was determined to make a success so that she could support her family which was under alot of financial strain. She taught herself how to crochet using Youtube as her platform for learning. She now serves her community by c
reating part-time job opportunities to empoverished, single, abandoned, elderly, previously abused women and moms whom she trains/upskills to handmake all of her beautiful items that she so proudly advertises on all the social media platforms, religiously everyday because (quoted) "everybody needs to eat and have a roof over their heads". Her page has grown organically and so beautifully over the past 12 years to a staggering almost 11k likes and followers. She captures so many hearts with her personality and how she handles her customers and how she treats the ladies who work for her. The items on this page is made with so much love and attention to detail. "Quality over Quantity" she says as we ask her about mass production... "mass production will come later... im training my ladies to be the absolute best at what they do 1st so that they can help me when new people needs training and that is how we will grow". Please show your support to this small business by ordering a little something for yourself or a loved one. By supporting Jojo's Jelly Beanies, you are supporting and helping so many families at the same time. We need to stand together. PLEASE NOTE: Absolutely NO refunds on handmade goods. Please be clear if there is a deadline whereby u need the items to be completed so that it can be confirmed according to the amount of orders in the queue and time needed to make. Please be clear on size and colour as it cannot be corrected after. Yarn used for the items are very scarce. Crochet, knitted/handmade items takes time and needs your patience please🙏
