I had one goal in mind and that was to transform people's lifestyles by enhancing their interior and living spaces. My philosophy for creating luxury spaces is achieved through layers of rich colour, organic forms, and sufficient lighting. My designs are always exuberant yet transcendent to current trends. Our Story

I adore simplistic interiors, consistency and layering spaces with pieces one can appreciate for years to come. Interiors should be sophisticated and quietly elegant yet comfortable and cosy. My choices for clients are normally timeless, neutral and attention to detail, yet expertly reflect my clients personal taste and needs. ​I'm inspired by nature and landscapes, organic textures and carefully considered simplicity with touches of timeless design that cocoons both age and season in a nonchalant luxury.

After Graduating with a degree in Industrial Design from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and years of working on various creative projects, I realised that all I wanted to do was to bring beauty into people’s everyday lifestyle - Schonken Interiors and Raār was born. I have worked on large-scale remodels to quick makeover projects. SI is a full-service design studio collaborating with other like-minded professionals to assist clients with a wide range of challenges and projects.
