Precious Cargo shop was your work & a place you felt safe & loved & we loved you.

Always available even through your difficulties in life to work last min for me if suddenly I needed you showed up for me ❤️

You taught someone with one hand to crochet . You worked at The Handicapped Centre in Oceanview.

You were one of the orginal old school kommetjie hippies.

You caught taxis & trains woman alone to your appointments at Groote Schuur for skin cancer & check ups for your diabetes when no one could help.

You walked Even if you u were tired to come fill in a shift at the shop. You worked fir me for over 15 years

You smoked more ci******es & drank more coffee than anyone I ever met !

You never missed Chris Prior s show

You were a master weaver .

We fought you resigned you came back a few days later & came back & you worked for me again this happened every 6 months !

I told you the only time I would stop the shop was if you died.but it has continued to be a special space for women & young ladies, Precious Cargo is now 25 years old.

You moved & The shop continued to provide a safe space & employment for woman

You would phone & say how much you missed the farm. It was your safe space.You were so my safe space I not sure you knew that

Without you I could not have kept this business together with 2 kids as a single mum when they were at school.
You were also a single mom ❤️

Hope you knew how much you were my safety net & how grateful my kids & me loved you

Your pixie hats! Your love for my kids not forgetting birthdays.

Your excitement for your grandchildren & how proudly spoke about your daughter who lived in Europe

You were precious cargo

Today we say good bye to your human body
I know your soul is now free & at peace , your life was hard right from the start

If anyone that knew her reads this Her service will be at The Holy Trinity Anglican Church kalk Bay at 11pm & we will be at Imhoff Farm around 12.15ish for coffee & ci******es at Blue water restaurant today
