Wrapped and Joburg bound. Amphora joins Johannesburg this year as part of the Floodlight Expo and Ten x Ten Top 100, following its for Best Lighting Product Design 2025.

A full week of light, conversation and connection at Decorex.

From our Floodlight display with Amphora to our panel discussion on the future of experiential lighting, this week was a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do: creating light that is not just seen, but felt.

At One to One, we believe light is an experience - a way to shape atmosphere, enhance well-being and reconnect people with the natural rhythms of light.

We travelled to Barcelona to spend time with the team at and found something rarer than a great product range. A shared language. Experiential design. Biophilic thinking. The belief that light should shape how people feel at the deepest level.

Two studios. Two continents. One philosophy.

After 20 years of recreating natural light in built environments, Amphora became the physical expression of our philosophy.

It began with one question:
What if we could bring the campfire indoors?
The warmth.
The glow.
The shadow.
The quiet pull of gathering around light.

Hand-cast in solid bronze and inspired by organic seed pod forms, Amphora is a vessel of light where biophilia, craft, and atmosphere become tangible.

On 16 June, Amphora receives the Best Lighting Product Design Award at the in Paris, a milestone that honours not only the object, but the philosophy behind it.

A rare look inside one of Cape Town’s most anticipated luxury hospitality developments- where architecture, detail, and atmosphere are beginning to take shape.

For us, lighting starts long before the final scene is switched on. It starts here: walking the site, understanding the architecture, reading the materials, resolving the details, and making sure every layer of light supports the experience of the space.

Excited to see this landmark project come to life at the V&A Waterfront.
