Beautifully polished on the top while preserving its raw and unpolished rind. This statement piece features geometric banding in earthy tones of reddish-brown wrapped around a quartz core.

Likely originating from the famous mineral deposits of either Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil or Malawi.

A sleek and iconic outstretched cheetah forming the handle grip. Stamped with the official "DC" initial mark on the underside.

The handle is crafted from premium, lead-free cast pewter. It features a gorgeous, deep satin sheen that captures intricate details and resists aggressive tarnishing.

The screw is made of high-strength, rust-resistant stainless steel to ensure it never bends or warps when opening a bottle.

This large, handmade decorative bowl is a stunning piece of South African art pottery by Werkstatt Werner. It is beautifully detailed with a hand-painted floral folk-art design.

Werkstatt Werner studio was operated by Hans Werner and his wife Annalene in Makhanda (formerly Grahamstown) in the Eastern Cape.

The Werners were prominent studio potters deeply rooted in the local craft community. Hans generally designed the forms, while Annalene meticulously hand-painted each piece, signing them with the initials A/E Werner.

Hand-thrown in Olifantsfontein, South Africa between 1943 and 1955. Highly collectible from the mid-century.

This bulbous piece is finished in Linn Ware's iconic glossy "mushroom" glaze. It has a classic hand-turned rim with a russet colour along the top crest. With its wide opening, it is catalogued as part of their tableware lines often used as a jam or sugar bowl.

There are two circular "LW" maker's stamps clearly visible on the base.

In outstanding vintage condition with absolutely no chips or flea-bites and the glaze is in very good condition. Very rare for earthenware of this era.
