These are custom upcycled industrial bar stools crafted from vintage-style pressed steel tractor seat pans mounted on fabricated steel bases with grid backrests.

Taking these physical keepsakes home reminded us of a famous Ghanaian proverb: Sankofa, which translates to "Go back and get it." Derived from the Akan language, the full proverbโ€”"Se wo were fi na wosankofa a yenkyi"โ€”beautifully teaches us that "it is not taboo to go back and retrieve what you have forgotten." It is a lovely reminder to always cherish where we have been as we continue moving forward.
