I’ve been busy. Three dolls in 3 weeks!

It sounds insane, because it is. Once I start, I can’t stop until I have:

A body

A head

An outfit

Embroidery

And last but not least; a wig.

So I made bodies and heads and then I played with clothes.

I love making clothes and I mixed and matched, used my own creativity and even mixed and matched patterns.

This is all for now.

(It’s winter in South Africa 🇿🇦 and I have to make 2 Sea Life Blankets for my daughters.)

PS! Please share my creative page with friends and family. My dolls are made to order. Delivery is Postnet to Postnet.

Each doll has the following:

Plastic (foot inserts)
Wire (in the arms surrounding the dowel supporting the neck and head)
Wooden dowel for the spine (crotch to top of the head)
98% consists of 100% cotton yarn.

Ages 6 and up.

Spot cleaning only for the doll. Clothes can be removed and washed on a slow wool/hand wash cycle.

I absolutely loved making this dress!!!!

It’s from the Louise pattern with my own colour palette. I love yellow! It’s a happy colour.

Now that I’m happy with their clothes, I have to start embroidery on the faces of the two heads that is waiting. I always battle with the eyes, even after making more than 20 dolls. I’m never completely haopy.

I have one wig done and will have to do a wig for the boy.

This is such an easy go journey. I’m not rushed.

I also want to see if I can finally get it right to insert wire in the arms. I have always omitted it because I made dolls for children to play with. These are my dolls and I want them perfect for me.
