Energywise are specialists in the design and manufacture of LED fittings for industrial, commercial and horticultural use. With over 60 cumulative years of lighting experience, the team at Energywise has been actively engaged in the design and manufacture of LED lighting for over half a decade, having moved to embrace LED’s fully in 2015. In that time we have designed both bespoke and commercially

available fittings for some of the largest companies on the African continent with exceptional lifespans and lighting outputs. Put plainly we ensure that the specs written on the box are true reflections of the fitting inside the box. As mentioned, R&D is a huge part of everything we do, to better aid us in this we have invested heavily into one of the few dedicated lighting laboratories in the country housed at our head offices in Durban. This allows us to fully test, probe, and monitor every aspect of a design before it goes to market. Our intrinsic belief is that the only way to sell with confidence is to have that confidence empirically tested. We don’t believe in giving you our word unless that word is backed by scientific fact. Simple as that. This is the blanket thinking that covers every fitting we produce. Our director has a saying, ‘we don’t sell light fittings, we sell light’. And we couldn’t agree more!

Our team has grown to a diverse and highly skilled unit, from the salesmen and women to the accountants and engineers; each individual brings a set of unique skills and passions to create the Energywise ethos which we proudly stand by. All our engineers and sales team have intimate product knowledge based in experience not just what one may come across in a brochure or product box.
