THE MAN INSIDE MOSHE 🐾💛
Before he was a meerkat, Lindani Nkosi was a man South Africans loved to hate. Born in March 1968, he built his name as a soapie villain — Lincoln Sibeko on Isidingo — then carried something even heavier: playing Nelson Mandela in 2004’s Drum. 🇿🇦
In 2000, at 32, he put all that weight down and climbed inside a giant yellow meerkat suit instead. Moshe doesn’t scheme. He tends a garden, dances when he feels like it, and teaches children in Zulu and English how to care for one another. 🐾🌱🕺🏾 For an actor known for intensity, it must have felt like coming up for air.
Nobody connected the two for 23 years. Then, in 2023, the internet did the maths — and Mzansi realised the villain and the meerkat had been the same man all along. 📺
Lindani is 58 now. And he’s still in there. 😳
