When the request for assistance came from Hillcrest Conservancy earlier this year, we were very excited to be able to offer our skills and resources to revamp a space that was in such need of it.
Springside Nature Reserve is a place we spend time in ourselves, it is an integral part of the Hillcrest community, and it was important that the space used for meetings and educational projects be both functional and welcoming.
Working with an empty space, through the planning stages with limited resources, to an outcome that has the Conservancy members thrilled with its freshness and inspiration from the grassland surroundings.
A big thank you to our suppliers and collaborators who so willing helped with this project - when a community works together even more can be achieved.
If you are in the Upper Highway area and haven't taken a walk through Springside Nature Reserve yet you really should... the grassland flowers are in bloom at the moment and it's an inspiring day out in nature!
