We all have different inspirations and themes that influence our homes, so I thought I’d start sharing a few. These are some of the ways I bring themes through using fabrics and paint colours.

I always say a room should be made up of 60% one colour, 20% another, and then 10% + 10% accent colours.

If you have more than this combination of colours, it could be why your room feels overwhelming, cluttered, or busy. When colours are used in equal amounts, it can also feel too much.

I’ll touch on this more in another video.

Home projects always start off exciting… and then suddenly you’re awake at midnight questioning every decision 😂

Somehow the studio is always slightly chaotic, covered in swatches and coffee cups… but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

This project was such a special one to work on 🤍

Our clients had just moved into their new home and wanted their lounge to feel warmer, more inviting, and a little more “them.”
We layered in soft sheer curtains to let the light flow beautifully, and had a custom couch made to fit the space just right. Adding scatter cushions brought in that cosy, lived-in feel straight away.

We went with a soft green feature wall to add a bit of depth and calm, and created a fun gallery wall to showcase their travel memories, something really personal that makes the space feel unique to them.

There’s colour, there’s warmth, but it isn’t overwhelming, and it’s easy on the eye thanks to neutral base layers. The best part? It’s flexible, switching out a few cushions can completely refresh the look down the line.

We also designed a custom TV unit in a timeless style.
