Most items are pre-loved, at times restored, re-upholstered or gently worn. Poppi is an online-shop. open once a month and by appointment

Storage available at additional cost for items staying for longer than 30 days . How does delivery & collections work:

Shipping Disclaimer. Customers to acknowledge and agree that it is the Buyer’s responsibility to either pick up or arrange for the delivery of a purchased Poppi item. In the event that Buyer elects for delivery of a purchased Poppi item, Buyer shall be solely responsible for arranging and paying for the shipment of the Poppi item including; any assistance on the part of Poppi teams in coordinating shipping through third party shippers. Poppi, shall not be liable for any loss, damage or theft of Poppi items in transit. All customers outside of Cape Town & outlying areas to ensure instruction is given to their courier services for additional packaging & Fragile communication to ensure the best delivery. The team at Poppi will ensure all Poppi items are firmly & securely packed & ready for collection or distribution by Buyer. At Poppi, our aim is to take great care in the pieces that leave the Poppi Shed & will always endeavour to assist our Poppi customers to the best of our ability. Honestly, it’s like Christmas opening these boxes… I unpack one beauty and then fall in love with the next!

This Italian inspired dressing table or desk has me completely smitten. Rococo inspired curves, elegant cabriole legs and the prettiest carved shell and leaf details.

And then there’s the gold… tracing those beautifully shaped edges and highlighting the carvings against the warm ivory finish. A little Italian grandeur, the Poppi way.

A little question from me to you… 🖤

Sometimes you find that special piece and your heart says yes, but paying for it all at once may need a little more planning.

After all, filling your home with beautiful, characterful pieces you truly love is so much more special than settling for cookie cutter, run of the mill, mass produced items.

As part of our Poppi community, I’d love to hear your thoughts. I’m exploring whether monthly instalments through an independent finance provider, separate from Poppi, could be helpful for our higher priced pieces.

Nothing is in place just yet. I’m simply listening and gathering your honest feedback so I can better understand what would work for you.

I Sitting here (glass of bubbly in hand)looking at this picture with a lump in my throat, realising that my Pinterest dream has become my reality.

I am living proof that life can throw you curveballs. Not one or two, sometimes three… and you can still follow a dream, a passion, a love.

At 25, I wanted to buy a pretty chair, so my granny and I cut the grass with my kitchen scissors at my little cottage in Stellenbosch to save the money I would have spent on a garden service.
From saving for a pretty chair to making my own pretty chairs…

I couldn’t have done it without every single one of you who has followed my journey over these 15 years. Every purchase, every encouraging word, every bit of support has helped me get here …
It’s a lump in my throat moment. I’m so grateful xx
