One of the advantages of moving half way across the world is being able to do things you never thought possible. Last week I had the privilege of attending the festival of quilts in Birmingham. This was a bucket list item for me.
The variety and quality of quilts was quite overwhelming.
I got to meet a design icon Kaffe Fasset and got a signed copy of his book. (Bit of a fan girl moment)
The cherry on the cake was seeing the amazing quilts by Claire Wallace and Telene Jeffrey that won the two person quilt category!
