I simply loved this particular piece and it left me with a feeling of peace and deep happiness!

Handmade Card Inspiration: Happy Birthday
Denise van Deventer created a striking masculine birthday card for her son, whose special day is just around the corner. She created the base with patterned papers, then layered punched circles and stickers to form the playful design. Distress Crayons add vibrant shading around the circles, while script and postage mark stamping bring subtle texture to the background. The stamped sentiment is accented by orange buttons that provide pops of colour. Finally, black doodling and faux stitching along the borders complete the design, giving the card a bold yet personal finish.

Used hessian rope for texture and tearing and edge-distressing for depth!
