Back on the loom — and this time, just for me.
It’s been a long time since I posted here on . After pausing the business to relocate, I finally carved out time during the holidays to create something for my own home — and heart.
I forgot how much I enjoyed this art form - it is so relaxing, tactical and therapeutic. It also keeps my hands busy and my mind alert while listening my audio bible - weaving The Words into my heart at the same time.
This 2m x 1m fibre art tapestry now anchors my bedroom, designed to fit over a king-sized bed.
🧵 I poured love into every fibre:
• Turkish + South African single twist cotton string fringing
• South African merino roving + yarn
• Felted llama fleece
• All mounted on an oil-stained meranti plank
A slow-made piece, born from stillness and stitched with intention.
