Handling life's difficult transitions with care and dignity🫶💞

As we get older, it can become more challenging to keep up with our homes. Over time, a lifetime of belongings — many of them meaningful — can begin to feel overwhelming.

In this case, the parent of a client had been living in a beautiful townhouse for over 10 years before sadly passing away.

Although the home was what we would call a “clean hoarder” situation, it had become quite difficult to move around the two-bedroom space. The main bedroom had gradually filled with treasured items, eventually leading her to move into the spare room. Bless her — it was clear that everything she kept held meaning.

This project took three days to complete.

The family was assisted by:

Identifying items of value and helping arrange their sale to offset costs

Setting aside sentimental belongings for the family

Delivering a trailer load of donations to charities of their choice

Removing all remaining unwanted items, broken goods, and general waste

A light clean was completed once the home was cleared — sweeping, wiping surfaces, and leaving the space neat and presentable.

The home is now ready for its next chapter, whether that be sale or rental.

Hi everyone 👋

So after much thought, and a BIG leap of faith, I have decided to start a new business which I am proud to introduce to you all today!

This journey is very close to my heart. I will be helping individuals and families with the difficult and stressful tasks involved when dealing with home transitions.

Downsizing, emigration, dealing with a loved one's estate and the like, all come with their own set of challenges and emotions which often become extremely daunting.

I would like to offer my assistance by taking on certain tasks that will help make these transitions smoother for yourself and your loved ones, thus affording you more time to spend on other aspects of the transition.

Most importantly, all my interactions will be dealt with in an extremely respectful, caring, compassionate and efficient manner with tailor made quotations, structured to suit individual needs and budgets.
