The good life, according to kids 🌼🌸

Bare feet..warm sunshine..flowers floating in water. Nowhere else they need to be.

Maybe la dolce vita was always meant to look a little more like this. Seems the good life is really is this simple 🤌🏼🤎

The loveliest kind of play when they are completely absorbed in the world they are creating and have completely forgotten you’re there 🤎

Busy hands, bare feet, little stories unfolding. Not rushing to the next thing just wrapped in wonder and the simplicity of exploration.

Childhood doing what childhood does best.

The signs are all there…

Pink-washed skies, wood on the mud kitchen still warm from the days rays. The remnants of potions carefully concocted leaving puddles in their wake, both intentionally and, by happy accident.

Everyone’s gone inside, but all the evidence of a good day, well played are all still there.

Big beautiful messy childhood moments 🤎🧡

Playtime + snack time, all at the same time 🍌🧱

Life with kids doesn’t happen in neat little pockets of time. There are messy overlaps, sticky fingers, half-built Lego creations and snacks squeezed in wherever they fit.

Our Learning Tower was made for helping little ones get involved in the kitchen, but over the years we’ve loved seeing all the other little ways it becomes part of everyday family life too.

Today, apparently, it’s the perfect spot for a banana while supervising some very important Lego construction. 🤎

Made for play. Built to last. And very much made for real life!

One of those pieces you buy for one stage, then realise they’re still playing with years later. 🤎

Water play now, messy play next, little worlds and big imaginations somewhere in between. And before you know it, the younger sibling has pulled up a chair too.

Made for play. Built to last.

☀️ Suns out - time to take your Pikler back outside! ☀️

It’s been a loooong winter for all of us and your Pikler may be feeling it too.

If the wood is looking a little dry and in need of some love, all you need is to give it a quick clean with warm soapy water and once dry, wipe down with an exterior furniture wax (Woodoc have some great options) or use a natural wax like an orange oil (we love ProNature South Africa wax balm - smells like a bowl of summer ripe oranges too 🍊) and wipe over the wooden sections of your Pikler and slide. **Note - please take care not to apply wax to the climbing rungs as it could make them very slippery.

Happy climbing kiddos! 🌈🪜
