Something special is coming ✨

On June 4, 2026, Dual will unveil its next turntable prototype – and behind it lies a story deeply rooted in the Dual DNA: turntable technology, mechanical precision, and the ambition not simply to build things, but to build them properly.

Our developer Alfred Langer had long wanted to bring such a model back into the Dual lineup. For years, the answer was often the same: not possible today. Too complex. Too expensive. Too demanding.

But sometimes, all it takes is one person who refuses to stop believing in an idea.
To the best of our knowledge, this special combination of technologies has not been brought to market by any manufacturer in this century. The last Dual model of this kind was built until the early 1990s – at a time when Josef Zellner was still Export Manager at Dual / Schneider.

Next week, we will present the prototype to the public for the first time at the trade fair – and of course, we’ll be reporting here on Instagram and Facebook.

Am 4. Juni 2026 stellt Dual den nächsten Plattenspieler-Prototypen vor – und dahinter steckt eine Geschichte, die tief in der Dual DNA verwurzelt ist: Plattenspieler-Technik, mechanische Präzision und der Anspruch, Dinge nicht einfach zu bauen, sondern richtig zu bauen.

Unser Entwickler Alfred Langer wollte ein solches Modell schon lange wieder im Dual Programm sehen. Oft hieß es: heute nicht mehr machbar. Zu kompliziert. Zu teuer. Zu aufwendig.

Doch manchmal braucht es genau eine Person, die nicht aufhört, an eine Idee zu glauben.
Nach unserem Kenntnisstand wurde diese besondere Technikkombination in diesem Jahrhundert noch von keinem Hersteller neu auf den Markt gebracht. Das letzte Dual Modell dieser Art wurde bis Anfang der 1990er-Jahre gebaut – in einer Zeit, als Josef Zellner noch Export Manager bei Dual / Schneider war.

Nächste Woche zeigen wir den Prototypen erstmals öffentlich auf der Messe – und berichten natürlich hier auf Instagram und Facebook.
