Ek deel graag hierdie maklike en eenvoudige maniere van pompoms maak wat van Pinterest af kom met u. As kinders het ons die twee plat ronde kartonnetjies wat soos 'n "doughnut" lyk, gebruik. Nou het ek van die twee toiletrolletjies geleer! Maklik! Probeer gerus!

Crochet and knitting is not just for winter and making blankets for all the kids and grandkids. There is an artist in everyone of us. You just have to find him/her and let them surface again. I have been doing my favourite thing for 4 hours now - browsing through Pinterest for Christmas crochet projects this time. And of course I see all kinds of other patterns as well. And I realise again, my life is going to be far too short for everything I still want to do! Granny's Square has a selection of cottons and cotton mixes for you to knit and crochet with. Nice flimsy tops and crop tops for the grandchildren. Moya yarns will also be here soon. And just look at the beautiful necklaces, earrings and bracelets you can make as Christmas gifts. I'll share a few pics or links from Pinterest. And lastly you can make your own Christmas tree and table decorations and wreaths and impress the younger generation with what you can do if you can crochet and knit. Be their inspiration! If we as parents and grandparents don't teach them, the art of knitting and crochet will be lost within a decade or two! I am so glad when I see Mariek and her daughter in the shop and our beautiful grade 11 twins who also bring friends along. Good for these and other moms and grandmoms. Let the kids help you to download Pinterest, so you can enjoy the patterns as much as I do.

My eerste Velluto-kombersie. Ek is nou met my tweede en derde besig vir twee van my vyf kleindogters. Velluto verkoop steeds goed, want die oumas hekel en brei vir hul kleinkinders in die koue lande. Ons verwag hierdie week weer 'n aflewering daarvan. Kom koop dadelik as u wil hê vir u kind of kleinkind! Hierdie wonderlike fluweelwol kan in die wasmasjien gewas en in die tuimeldroër gedroog word sonder skade. So sê Mariek wat op een van ons vroeëre plasings is met haar gehekelde Velluto kombers. Intussen het sy al 'n hele paar meer gemaak!

Hoewel Vinni's vanjaar duurder kos, het ons besluit om die prys slegs met R1,00 aan te pas. Dis 'n gelukkie as 'n mens in ag neem hoe die prys van baie huishoudelike produkte byna verdubbel het die afgelope jaar! Ons wil graag ons pryse so laag as moontlik hou om te verseker dat u gunsteling tydverdryf steeds vir u 'n vreugdevolle ervaring is. Hendrieka kan met reg trots wees op die pragtige kombers wat sy gehekel het. Sy is die regterhand van Mariek wat haar aanvanklik so 'n bietjie touwys gemaak het. Hendrieka het die kombers met Charity DK gehekel in die drie mooi kleure wat sy self gekies het. Ons sien uit na jou volgende projek!!

Klante vra dikwels vir patrone. As u soos ek tegnologies gestremd is, vra een van u kinders of kleinkinders om te help. Laai YouTube en Pinterest af. Daar is al die patrone wat u kan soek. Druk net op die soek-vergrootglasie, tik sleutelwoorde in, bv "crochet baby blanket" en die toep gooi vir u 'n rits patrone uit om van te kies. Of "knit woman's cardigan" en siedaar! En die patrone is dit wat tans gewild is. Trendy patterns can be found on YouTube en Pinterest. But let me warn you: Pinterest can be very addictive! Soon Granny will sit like a kid and stare at the cell phone all day!
