The purchase of The Flower Boutique was a step of faith as Chantel wanted to explore her creative side and wanted to form a business to the glory of God, employing people who do not have other opportunities, create jobs and gl

orify God through her wonderful talents. Today the Flower Boutique is widely known in Jeffreys Bay – not only for the extremely good prices, but especially for the extra care and love being put into each flower bouquet leaving the shops doors.

🌸 “You get to play with flowers all day!” 🌸

That’s the common misconception about owning a flower shop. 😅

Behind every beautiful bouquet is a whole lot of work that most people never see — early mornings, deliveries, conditioning stems, cleaning buckets, admin, orders, sourcing, packing, problem-solving… and everything in between.

Owning a florist can be daunting. It’s hard work, long days and sometimes more stress than we’d like to admit. 😂
But then we scroll through our camera roll and see all the moments in between. The laughter. The madness. The beautiful people we get to meet. The little victories. The memories made.

And most importantly — we’re reminded of the joy, love, celebrations and even comfort that we get to be a small part of every single day. ❤️🌸

So yes… we do play with flowers all day. 😉
But we also get to bring a little more love and beauty into a world full of madness.

And honestly, we wouldn’t trade that for anything. 🌷✨

One of the most beautiful things about being a florist is that we get to be part of life’s most meaningful moments. 🌸

Every day, we help send love across distances, celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, new beginnings, milestones and moments that deserve to be remembered. We get to see the joy that flowers can bring, even when we’re not there to witness the smile they create.

But flowers are also there for the harder moments of life.
More often than people might realise, we help put together arrangements for goodbyes, condolences, heartbreak and loss. We help people find a way to say “I love you,” “I’m thinking of you,” “I’m sorry,” or “I’ll miss you” when words simply aren’t enough.

And while those orders can sometimes be difficult to prepare, we never take them for granted.

Because whether we are sending flowers to celebrate a new chapter or to comfort someone through the closing of one, we are being trusted to carry a little piece of someone’s heart.

That is something we feel truly honoured to do. ❤️

To everyone who has allowed us to be part of your celebrations, your surprises, your love stories, your difficult days and your goodbyes — thank you for trusting us with the moments that matter most.

We may only arrange the flowers, but behind every bouquet is a story, an emotion, and someone who cares deeply.
