Nestled in the heart of Johannesburg, this once single-storey residence was thoughtfully transformed into an elegant double-storey family home — blending timeless neoclassical detailing with modern sophistication. From curated finishes and bespoke furnishings to carefully considered architectural extensions, every space was designed to feel refined, warm, and effortlessly luxurious.

A project centred around balance: grandeur without excess, functionality without compromise, and interiors that feel both elevated and deeply lived in. One of those homes where every detail quietly speaks for itself.

A little “get to know me” beyond the moodboards, site visits and sourcing spreadsheets ✨

I’m Monique — founder, interior designer, creative problem solver and someone who genuinely loves creating spaces that feel beautiful and lived in.

Outside of design, you’ll usually find me:
• in the gym lifting unnecessarily heavy things
• chasing a really good coffee
• working through social mornings and catch-ups
• obsessing over interiors, property and business ideas
• balancing the chaos and excitement that comes with building a business

I love the hustle of what I do — the long days, creative challenges, client transformations and seeing an idea come to life from concept to completion.

For me, good design is about more than aesthetics. It’s about creating spaces that support the way people actually live, host, rest and connect.

So whether I’m styling a room, sourcing furniture, training at the gym or replying to emails over a skinny cappuccino … it’s all part of the same thing: building a life and business I genuinely love. ✨
