My journey into interiors began in the world of editorial, where I spent five formative years as a Décor Stylist at House & Leisure. It was there that I learned to see spaces differently - not just as rooms to be styled, but as places to be lived in, gathered in, and remembered. Those years shaped my love for thoughtful design, careful planning, and the subtle details that quietly bring a home to life.
In 2016, launching Heather Boting Interior Design felt like a natural next chapter. One rooted in creativity, intention, and connection. I’m especially drawn to the beginning of the design process, where ideas are still unfolding, materials are layered with care, and a space slowly starts telling its story.
At the heart of my work is collaboration. I believe the most beautiful interiors are those that feel deeply personal. Spaces that reflect the people who live within them, their rhythms, their memories, and the way they move through their days.
Being welcomed into such personal spaces is something I never take lightly. It’s a true privilege to walk this journey alongside my clients.
