This is a home that doesn’t raise its voice; it hums.

The design leans into a language of restraint and precision, where every line feels considered and every material quietly luxurious. Sunlight becomes part of the architecture, pouring through steel-framed windows and settling gently onto warm timber, honed stone, and butter-soft leather. There’s a rhythm to it: clean, architectural bones softened by tactile, almost soulful layering.

A quiet celebration of heritage and restraint, this 1970s home in Saxonwold has been thoughtfully reimagine with a deep respect for its original character. Its soul comes from the warm timber window frames, doors and exposed ceiling beams which have been preserved, accentuated by an interplay of texture and tone while rich upholstery in jewel tones and softly patterned wallpaper provides a contemporary nod to nostalgia.

Welcoming in a new year with a Bishopscourt home which quietly masters the art of balance. Designed for two distinct personalities - one drawn to structure, order and classic detail, the other to something more artistic, offbeat and a little gritty - the interiors bring these contrasting sensibilities together with remarkable ease.

The living spaces are calm and composed, anchored by a consistent, tonal palette that allows texture, proportion and light to lead. Generous black-framed windows pull the mountains into view, blurring the line between inside and out, while hardwearing klompies flooring introduces a subtle grit that grounds the home in everyday life.
