🍫 6-min Microwave Chocolate Cake 🍰

1 cup sugar
1 cup self-raising flour (or 1 cup plain flour + 2 heaped teaspoons baking powder)
4 tablespoons oil
2 eggs
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup boiling water
1/4 teaspoon salt

🌸Cream sugar and eggs well
🌸Add oil and cocoa and mix well
🌸Add the flour and salt and mix.
🌸Add boiling water and mix
(The batter will be quite thin. This is right)
🌸Line the bottom of an Argilla Baking
Pan with towelling or Baking Paper
🌸Pour the batter into the pan
🌸Microwave on high for 6 – 7 minutes.

Once done leave in microwave for 10 minutes before removing.
Decorate when cool

❄️ 1 Minute Chocolate Frosting 🧁
200 g Icing Sugar
40 g unsweetened Cocoa Powder (⅔ cups)
75 g Softened Butter
50 ml Boiling Water
40 g Melted Dark Chocolate 75% cocoa
Pinch of Salt
🌸Mix the dry ingredients
🌸Melt the butter in the Microwave
🌸Add the dark chocolate and microwave for 30 seconds.
🌸Stir well untill the chocolate is melted or almost melted
🌸Add the boiling water and stir well
🌸Add the chocolate mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well
😋 Cool and decorate cooled chocolate cake

🌟Pilchard Lasagne🌟
serves 6 - 8
(Soak 12 x Parboiled Lasagne sheets in hot water (not boiling water) in the Large Rectangular Bowl while preparing the fish and cheese sauce
(Recipe borrowed from Lucky Star 🌟 and slightly changed for Argilla)

Fish mixture
🌟1 can of Pilchards in tomato sauce, mashed
🌟1 can of tuna, mashed
🌟1 onion, chopped
🌟2 cloves of garlic, chopped
🌟1 can of Tomato, chopped
🌟Salt, Pepper and Aromat
🌟2 tablespoons of chutney
🌟1 tablespoons of worcester sauce
🌟10 ml butter/oil

*Fry the onions and garlic in the butter/oil for 5 minutes on High in the Microwave oven in the Small Deep Gourmet Bowl.
*Add the rest of the ingredients and microwave for 7 - 10 minutes on high

Cheese sauce
🌟75 g (150 ml) of flour
🌟75 g (80 ml) of butter/margarine
🌟750 ml milk
🌟Salt and pepper to taste
🌟375 ml cheddar cheese, grated

*Mix the flour with a little of the milk to form a smooth paste in the Medium Gourmet Roaster.
*Add the rest of the milk and the butter and microwave it for 7 - 10 minutes on High or until it boils.
*Add salt, pepper and half of the cheese and mix well
*Remove the lasagne sheets from the water and discard the water.
*Pack 4 Lasagne sheets in the Large Rectangular Bowl.
*Cover the lasagne sheets with cheese sauce and then a layer of fish mixture
*Repeat the lasagne, cheese sauce and fish mixture.
*End with cheese sauce
*Sprinkle with the remaining cheese
*Bake in the oven at 180 ºC for 30 - 35 minutes.
*Set aside for 10 minutes before serving.
🥗 Serve with a salad of your choice

💓Fabulous Mother’s Day Specials on our stunning Baking Set and Snack Set💓

“Fanta Cake” or “Orange Soda Cake” 😋
4 eggs
280 g sugar
120 ml oil
320 g flour
200 ml orange soda (like Fanta orange)
16 g (20 ml) Baking Powder
Pinch orange zest
🌸Whisk the eggs and sugar until creamy.
🌸Add other ingredients
🌸Spray 2 Argilla Cake pans with non-stick Spray
🌸Divide the mixture evenly between 2 Argilla Cake Pans.
🌸Bake for 30 minutes at 180 ºC or until it’s done.
🌸Insert a wooden toothpick into the cake and if it comes out clean, it is ready.
🌸Allow cakes to cool for a while in the pans.
🌸Remove the cakes from the pans and let it cool completely on a wire rack before icing them.

💓Icing
*Use caramel between the 2 layers
*Make an easy butter icing for the final touch
🌸Easy Butter Icing
100 g butter, softened
500 ml (250 g) icing sugar, sifted
10 ml vanilla essence
± 30 ml milk
🌸Whisk the butter and icings sugar until creamy.
🌸Add vanilla essence and just enough milk to make it smooth.
🌸Put the icing on top of the cake and spread it over the top and around the sides.

“Bester Brunch” Recipe

♨️Spray the All-in-One Dish with Spray & Cook (or use butter)
🍞Cover the bottom of the All-in-One Dish with 3 - 4 (or more) slices of bread
(You can butter the bread slices if you like)
🥓Cut your leftover meat and veggies into smaller pieces
(If you haven't leftover meat/veggies, use viennas, mushrooms, spring onions - anything you like)
🥚 + 🐄 Beat 4 - 6 eggs with a little milk, salt, pepper or any seasoning
🌸Pour the egg mixture over
🧀Garnish with grated cheese (can also add tomato slices)🍅
🔥 Bake in the oven at 180 degrees C for 30 - 40 minutes until brown and crisp

🔒 Lockdown Baking continues... 🌸🌸

Boere Beskuit/ Farmers Rusks (Emileen’s recipe)

🌸10 cups of flour
🌸10ml salt
🌸Half a can of condensed milk
🌸2 packets of yeast
🌸3 eggs
🌸125ml margarine
🌸1 cup of sugar

Method.
- Sieve dry ingredients together
- Beat eggs and condensed milk together
-Melt the margarine
-Low water enough to knead
-Lastly, you add little by little margarine. And knead 🌸then let it rise until it has doubled
-Kneads and make balls and put into pans and let rise again
-Put on oven and put the Argilla trays in the oven and bake at 170 degree Celsius for one hour
-Remove from trays and let dry.
