The story behind Eijffinger FELT begins long before it reaches an interior. Each wallcovering is created using recycled textiles, including former airline uniforms, military fabrics, and carefully sorted post-consumer materials that are transformed into richly textured felt.

But the story goes even deeper.

The collection is produced in collaboration with i-did, a remarkable social enterprise in the Netherlands that helps people who have been distanced from the workforce rebuild confidence, develop skills, and create new opportunities through meaningful employment.

Around 80% of participants move on to sustainable jobs beyond the programme.

Every texture, every fibre, and every colour tells a story of renewal. Materials that might have been discarded are given a new purpose. People who needed a new beginning are given one too.

The result is a wallcovering collection that brings warmth, depth and tactile beauty to interiors while creating a positive impact on both people and the planet. 🌍🤍
