Designing of an interior space does not have to cost a fortune. I was tired of looking at a blank cupboard side, so I bought a frame from the SPCA shop and an off cut of floral material from waste centre. I did not want to damage the side of the cupboard and decided to look for a hook that I found at a local Crazy Store. Very happy with the result. 😍

Sometimes we inherit furniture from our family that’s precious and dear to us but it does not necessarily fit into our interior style. So instead of keeping it hidden away, give it a new breath of life and upstyle it. I have done this with my grandmother’s two side tables and I am sure she would have been proud of it.

Re-use broken pots instead of throwing it away. Play with the R words and the plants. Redesign, re-use, recreate, reassemble, replant and create a stunning removable potted garden. Just imagine how beautiful this unique, piece of living art is going to look when all the plants have rooted and grown.
