Nikki is vivacious, super talented and so much fun to work with!
How long have you been in the wedding industry?
6 years but have been in the service industry forever.
What inspired you to start?
I’ve always been creative and “artsy”, I think it just felt like the right time to explore that part of the industry I was already in and once I was doing it everything just made sense.
Your proudest achievement?
Raising two beautiful, well-mannered and respectable children.
The biggest lesson you’ve learned?
Not to compare myself or my abilities to anyone else. Everyone’s journey is different and self doubt kills more career goals than failure ever will.
One piece of advice for women in business.
Be trustworthy and resilient. These are two very important characteristics.
A fun fact about you that people don’t know.
I have about 10 years of formal classical piano training behind me.
What does Women’s Month mean to you?
That women wear a lot of hats and we wear it well. That we can create our own path, lead our own way and create our own opportunities. We can be strong and nurturing at the same time, be confident in ourselves whilst fixing the crowns on other women’s heads and supporting them.
