We always talk about companion planting but here are a few plants NOT to plant together:
Any of the bean family does not like planted close to chives, garlic, leeks and onions. Suprisingly also not close to marigolds. All the bean family don't like those that deter pests.
Peas: don't like garlic,chives, leeks and onions.
Cabbage: don't like strawberries,tomatoes.
Carrots: don't like dill.
Cuccumbers: don't like potatoes, sage.
Potatoes: don't like pumpkins,squash, tomatoes.
Raddish: don't like cabbage.
Rue: don't like sweet basil.
Squash: don't like potatoes.
Tomatoes: don't like cabbage, cauliflower,fennel, potatoes.
