FWiW-91 The song “Nothing Like a Friend” is from the 2015 Richard Hawley album, Hollow Meadows. It is also the inspiration behind the following story about a friend. I first met MARCUS PRYOR back in the late nineties. He was playing with his then band, Mechanical Jones, at a small club in Rosebank called Hoods. Maybe I'm wrong about the name....
