I look at the "about" page of MagwallSA and it says: always open, I have to testify that this is absolutely true. I purchased some magnetic paint and an edu-kit in 2019 with the idea to add a magnetic wall to all our classrooms eventually. This is a wonderful product and that makes teaching and playing even more fun. After Christmas 2021, I had to start getting into gear to add a magnetic wall to all our classrooms before re-opening. My e-mail to Mike on the 28th of Dec was answered on the 28th. Their factory was only opening on the 17th of January but Mike, however, made a plan to get the paint I needed from the factory and meet me the following week at Tygervalley. He was already making plans to get the second edu-kit I wanted on time before my school opened on the 19th of January. As luck would have it, the supplier also only started on the 12th of January and could not finish the kit on time, but Mike acted proactively and got some of the kit's items from their JHB branch while pushing for the balance that was not in stock in JHB to be done by the service provider. He liaised with the courier companies to explain the urgency. He even phoned the courier company twice on the day of expected delivery to ensure there was no hold-up and when the JHB half of the kit did not arrive on Monday the 17th, he contacted the courier company again and made sure it was delivered. I have had to deal with a couple of disappointments w.r.t. retailers not having stock because of the holidays etc., that is why I really have to give credit where it is due. I can't remember when the last time was that I have experienced customer service like this. Mike, you have really exceeded my expectations and it is heartwarming to know there are still people like you, who really do care about deadlines and helping your customers above and beyond what is expected. There is a desperate need for ECD education material in disadvantaged communities. In conjunction with Funda Kunye (a PBO), we have set up a crowdfunding project on Backabuddy to raise funds to provide education kits to ECD schools. The education kit, developed by ECD teachers, helps children learn through active participation and play. It comes with a step-by-step teaching guide developed by ECD teachers to meet the early development needs of children.
