This road has just been freshly marked with RoadStar, our road marking paint, made in Durban.

RoadStar dries to the touch in under 15 minutes at 23°C. It’s made at our Springfield Park plant and comes in white, black, red and yellow for the different lines a road needs.

We spend weeks choosing wall colours and hardly give any thought to the colour of the ceiling.

Every home has one: the strip of wall behind the dining chairs, the corner where the school bags land, the spot the vacuum always finds. With festive season guests only a couple of months away, this is a good moment to tidy those marks while the house is still quiet.

Open the curtains and check the wall in daylight before you start. Natural light shows the true size of a mark far better than a lamp does, and it helps you see exactly where the patch needs to end.

When the room is finished, take a quick photo of the tin label. The colour name and finish will stay on your phone for years, long after the tin has been recycled.
