Clients can, at times, feel intimidated by bespoke custom rugmaking, especially when confronted with almost 900 colour palette options.

During personalised design consultations, we discuss various options, including cool or warmer undertones. Often, we courier our colour tuft boxes to your home in order for you to compare these colours with your current décor setting. Once we have a firm colour indication, a final sample rug is tufted for confirmation.

Measuring an impressive 6000 mm x 10,000 mm, this is one of the larger rugs currently in production for the leading sports and leisurewear brand, Adidas. The primary background colour is a blend of jade and opal blue, paired with vibrant green line detail. The lines will be expertly trimmed to create the sharp edges.

From wallpaper inspo to wall art masterpiece.

This will be going into production next week - an artist-inspired wall art rug, to be installed in a newly built Melbosstrand luxury home. The design lines will be organically tufted in a plush pile, with the back ground in a very clean looking cut-pile. Watch this space for installation images....

A massive, multi-pile-height rug tufted by hand in Avocado green. Each square will be trimmed back by our team while the design is on the loom, before we carefully place the raised pile height areas.

This rug needs to be tufted in three layers; although each layer is glued and rolled individually, the primary back fabric is never cut, which means there are no actual joints in the almost 11 meter rug. Each layer is meticulously measured, to ensure all the lines remain linear and perfectly trimmed throughout. We use approx.5kg of yarn per square meter; the shear weight of the yarn stretches the fabric, and without careful hand tufting, hand trimming and regular adjustments, a perfectly drawn straight line, could easily bend out of shape.

Measuring 6405mm x 10712mm it truly is "all hands on deck" to ensure an awseome and inspiring bespoke rug finish.

As year end approaches at a rapid pace, our rugmaking studio is buzzing with bespoke orders.

This client's home is in Plettenberg Bay; every touchpoint has been carefully selected and refined by Mr B himself. A total of four bespoke rugs for a magnificent home - each uniquely designed to fit the space and complement the rest of the surrounding art pieces and interior elements. We have a VERY limited number of production spots left for delivery in December.
