Design specialist Shelley R represents the iconic Grande Dame of Hotels in Cape Town - the Belmond Group's magnificent Mount Nelson Hotel. We have been privileged to create several rugs for the Hotel - this spectacular circular shape will soon be installed at the luxury Spa. It is not often that we are commissioned to manufacture 11 (yes, that's right, ELEVEN!) bespoke designer rugs for a corporate entity. Cannot name the corporate client; suffice to say that our rugs will add vibrancy throughout this corporate environment at the Head Office in Johannesburg.

One of our sample stock rugs has found a home. Our client wanted something intentionally designed for his music room/lounge area. When visiting the factory recently to commission a custom-made rug, he saw this exquisite rug on display. He bought it immediately - such a showstopper, which added the perfect touch to the décor in his home.

When your client requests an almost 'snake skin'-styled rug look, in VERY soft-toned colours, we obliged. Brenda Hart from Soft & Co / Inhouse Design Studio Specialist chose Rugalia to collaborate on this rug design journey. It is going to be spectacular - very slight pile and height differences, and a Hexagon shape to complete the décor picture.

We'll share the final result over the next few weeks!
