So we will be closed today, and tomorrow (Thursday).
Today is day 1 of the second mountain we are facing on this journey..
We are taking mom in for admission and pre-op tests for her surgery tomorrow.
The past year, she has been undergoing chemotherapy and radiation for Colon Cancer (Stage 3B)
We have not shared much about this journey we have been facing together as a family, but it's been rough at times.
We are so thankful that she got through everything so far, as it was a quite aggressive treatment plan.
The next couple of days holds the scary part of this road. The Tumor Resection. It is a surgery that holds risks and a painful recovery with many uncertainties.
We are so thankful that we get to go through this with her, supporting her best we can.
We are thankful for all the support and prayers we have already and continue to receive.
